The Crescent

This community museum, located inside the city's 1913 Carnegie Library, provides a repository for a large collection of local artifacts and information most the history of Valdosta and Lowndes County.

Turner Center For The Arts
The Annette Howell Turner Center for the Arts is a modernistic, blusterous regional fine art centre providing art education and exhibit infinite for the city of Valdosta and adjacent south Georgia and north Florida counties.

One thousand Bay Wildlife Management Surface area
10 miles out of Valdosta is the peaceful, picturesque 1000 Bay Wildlife Management Surface area, inside which are thousands of acres of upland hardwood and pine wood and lowland cypress/mucilage swamp.
A half-mile fenced boardwalk through the swamp leads to a 54-foot ascertainment tower offering keen views over the forest and swamp. An additional 3-mile hiking trail leads through pine forest.
Within the reserve are four distinct ecosystems, with interpretive signs explaining the areas'due south environmental. Banks Lake National Wildlife Refuge
This strikingly cute cypress swamp and lake, twenty miles from Valdosta, is perfect for wild animals and nature photography, and as well offers paddling, boating and fishing. A brusque nature trail passes through hardwood woods and cypress wetlands.

Wild Adventures Theme Park
